Main Street Jarvie was abuzz with activity last Saturday as a parade and a host of other activities took place in celebration of the annual Jarvie Days festival.

It is not often that an Olympic team practices in the Westlock area, but last month a dozen of the county’s best gymnasts spent two weeks in Tawatinaw.

Jarvie Days has become a popular fixture in that community, and every year it seems to get bigger.

Under normal circumstances, falling from the sky would be a cause for concern, but for more than 200 men and women at the Westlock Airport last week, it was just another day of doing what they love.
