REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Canadian offensive lineman Noah Zerr to a one-year contract extension Tuesday. The six-foot-six, 325-pound Zerr, from Langenburg, Sask.

OTTAWA — Defensive lineman Deionte Knight was among four Canadian players signed by the Ottawa Redblacks on Tuesday. The six-foot-three, 278-pound Knight split last season between Toronto and Hamilton.

The Calgary Stampeders' coaching staff for 2025 has been overhauled after the departure two longtime members.

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks have signed running back/returner Javon Leake to a contract extension through the 2026 season, the team announced Monday. Leake was slated to become a free agent in February.

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks signed offensive lineman Zack Pelehos and fullback Marco Dubois to two-year contract extensions Monday. Both Canadian players were slated to become free agents in February.

Javon Leake is staying put. A CFL source said Friday the veteran running back-returner has agreed to terms on a two-year extension with the Edmonton Elks. Leake was slated to become a free agent in February.

TORONTO — The Grey Cup-champion Toronto Argonauts signed American running back Kevin Brown on Friday. The five-foot-nine, 205-pound Brown rushed for 522 yards on 101 carries in 12 games last season with the Edmonton Elks.

Vernon Adams Jr. is the present for the Calgary Stampeders but the CFL club could have two interesting future candidates for its starting quarterback job.

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders re-signed veteran kicker Rene Paredes on Wednesday while also restructuring quarterback Vernon Adams Jr.'s deal. Calgary signed Paredes to a two-year contract extension.

MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes signed Canadian defensive end Isaac Adeyemi-Berglund to a one-year extension Tuesday. The move keeps Adeyemi-Berglund with the CFL club through the 2026 season.
