Cody Fajardo and the Edmonton Elks will have an opportunity Monday to do what no other West Division team has been able to this year: Beat the Calgary Stampeders.

TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts signed quarterback Max Duggan, defensive lineman Joe Wallace and offensive lineman Dre Doiron on Wednesday. Duggan and Wallace are Americans while Doiron is Canadian.

TORONTO — The time spent together when neither was a starter is paying off for Nick Arbuckle and Jake Herslow. Arbuckle has thrown four TD passes to Herslow in the Toronto Argonauts' last three games.

TORONTO — B.C. Lions defensive lineman Mathieu Betts, Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Trevor Harris and the Montreal Alouettes’ offensive line have earned top honours in the CFL's honour roll for Week 12. Betts earned a player grade of 89.

TORONTO — Receiver Makai Polk has returned to the Toronto Argonauts. Polk re-signed with the CFL club Tuesday after being waived by the NFL's Atlanta Falcons last month.

TORONTO — Shilo Sanders has joined his brother Shedeur on the Toronto Argonauts' negotiation list. Shilo Sanders, the son of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

REGINA — Craig Smith, a longtime CFL scout, has died. He was 69 years old. Smith's wife, Cathy, announced her husband's death Sunday on social media.

CALGARY — A second-half surge in a 32-15 win over the visiting Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday kept the Calgary Stampeders in the hunt for first place in the CFL's West Division.

TORONTO — For Nick Arbuckle, the score overshadowed the individual accomplishments. Arbuckle threw for a career-high 430 yards with three touchdowns while rushing for another to lead the Toronto Argonauts to a 52-34 victory over the B.C.

OTTAWA — Cody Fajardo and the Edmonton Elks continue to gain momentum, picking up their third straight win with a 30-20 decision over the Ottawa Redblacks Friday night.
