CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders signed American defensive lineman Damontre Moore on Monday. Moore also signed with the Stampeders in October and played one game in the 2023 season, but finished the year on Calgary's practice squad.

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders released American defensive back Nic Marshall on Monday, a day after the CFL team said it was aware Marshall had been arrested on a gun possession charge.

HAMILTON — It will be a Grey Cup first at Tim Hortons Field on Sunday. The Montreal Alouettes and Winnipeg Blue Bombers will square off in the CFL championship game, marking the first time the two franchises have ever met in the Grey Cup.
