TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts signed receiver DaVaris Daniels and defensive lineman Folarin Orimolade to contract extensions Monday. Daniels, 31, had 52 catches for a career-high 1,009 yards and eight touchdowns.

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed linebacker Cam Judge to a contract extension.

VANCOUVER — The B.C. Court of Appeal has unanimously upheld the murder conviction of a former Canadian Football League player in the death of his girlfriend in 2009.

EDMONTON — Kyran Moore won't be hitting CFL free agency this year. The American receiver signed a one-year contract extension Friday with the Edmonton Elks.

MONTREAL — Running back Mike Weber Jr., who earned a Super Bowl ring with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020, was among five American players to sign with the Grey Cup-champion Montreal Alouettes on Friday.

OTTAWA — Michael Wakefield is staying put. The veteran American defensive lineman signed a one-year contract extension with the Ottawa Redblacks on Friday, which was also Wakefield's 30th birthday.

MONTREAL — Marcel Desjardins is back in the Montreal Alouettes front office. The Alouettes announced Thursday that Desjardins, 57, of Burlington, Ont.

EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks signed Canadian offensive lineman Brett Boyko two a two-year contract extension Wednesday. Boyko was slated to become a free agent next month.

CALGARY — Reggie Begelton is sticking around Calgary for another year. A league source said Wednesday the veteran receiver and Calgary Stampeders have agreed to a new contract that will keep Begelton in Alberta through the 2025 season.

Kyle Walters is in a holding pattern. The Winnipeg general manager has re-signed seven of the Blue Bombers 35 pending free agents to date.
