After experiencing the thrill of qualifying for Team Alberta and playing his heart out at a national level, Westlock’s Zach Basisty returned to Alberta sporting another gold medal to add to his collection of lacrosse-related accolades and awards.

The Barrhead Composite High School (BCHS) Junior Varsity girls’ volleyball team won a bronze medal in their first tournament of the year this weekend at R.F. Staples School in Westlock. Both the JV boys and girls were in attendance at the R.F.
