Antonson, Betty Mary (Nee: Fuller)

October 3, 1926 – November 4, 2021

Somewhere in the early morning of November 4, 2021, under the most amazing aurora borealis display, Betty Mary Antonson decided to swiftly and independently begin her spirit journey at the age of 95 years young.

She will be remembered by her loving family, sons - Raymond Kruger (Yoshiko Takemura), Gary Kruger (Ricki), and daughter – Shirley Kine; Step-Daughter Sonia Cameron (Don) grandchildren Jennifer, Holly (Kent) and Tyson Kruger; Louis Jarold (Christine), Corbin (Jasmine), and Landon (Stephanie) Kine Ketterer, Shannon Neale and Denise Cameron and most beloved great-grandchildren Donald Neale and Ms. Murphy Anholt. Her nephews Bob (Sharon), Jack (Cynthia) and David (Toni) Fuller also had a special place in her heart.

Betty was pre-deceased by her husbands’ Gerald and Martin; step-daughter Bonita Kine and brother CC Fuller.

Betty was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. She was very proud to wear the uniform of this fine organization. She was adamant to support the service of veterans (both her husbands) and what they fought for in the World Wars.

A funeral service was held at the Westlock Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm 10004-105 Street, Westlock, Alberta. Visitation with Betty was at noon. After cemetery burial, there was a fellowship at the Royal Canadian Legion (COVID vaccine passports/or negative test within 72 hours in place).

Memorial Donations may be made in Betty Antonson’s name to Royal Canadian Legion.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr.Coulson and staff at the Pembina Lodge. Your caring and support for Mom will always be remembered.
