BARRICK, Mable Louise
On January 22, 2022 Mable Barrick of Westlock, AB passed away at the age of 90 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Marie (Ken) Brown and Kathleen (Danny) Hayward; grandchildren, Michael Barrick, Shaun Barrick and Jeanette Barrick; 4 great-grandchildren and 1greatgreat grandchild; brothers Ernie (Marilyn) Collinridge, John (Heather) Collingridge and her sister-in-law Penny Collingridge.
She was predeceased by her husband Geoffrey H. Barrick, brothers Jim Collingridge and James George Collingridge as well as her sister Erna Collingridge.
Mable worked for many people in Westlock and surrounding area over the years. She was a very hard-working lady, who often took in folks who were down on their luck or needed some guidance. Mable loved berrypicking, gardening, and really anything that involved hard work. She was a strong-spirited, no-nonsense lady who could often be found helping people.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, January 29th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Westlock Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Bidne officiating with interment in the Glenrea Cemetery in Barrhead, AB.
