BRUDER, Margaret K
1930 – 2022
The devoted family of Margaret K. Bruder of Westlock, AB wish to share her peaceful passing on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Westlock Continuing Care Centre.
Margaret will be fondly remembered by her family: three daughters, Patricia Hauck, Margo (John) McLaughlin, and Kathy (Max) Shmyr; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; brother Alex Racine, as well as many more family and friends.
She was predeceased by her dear husband Len of 51 years and her loving daughter Terry Colleen, parents and sister Vi.
Margaret had a full life, proficient at golf, curling, and bridge. She displayed other talents through her needle work, knits and crocheted treasures gifted to all her family and friends.
Mom had a hard time vocalizing her tender feelings, rather choosing to express her love, through her preserves, baking, and fabulous meals.
Her dementia these past 4 years, stole much of Margaret’s vibrancy, but she maintained her sense of humour and wit.
We thank Dr. Stephanie Frigon, for her guidance and care, and are so grateful for the compassion of the staff at Smithfield, and the patience and kindness given at the Continuing Care Centre.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
