CAMPBELL, Grace Lillian (MacCabe)
Grace Lillian Campbell passed away peacefully on February 20, 2022 at the age of 91. Mom was most proud of being a farmer, office administrator, volunteer, gardener and being a loving wife, wonderful mom and doting grandmother to many. Her ever-present smile always elicited a smile in return.
She is survived by her loving children Dennis (Colleen), Vince (Ann), Jim (Donna), Diane and Laurel (Rick); as well as her beloved grandchildren: Patrick, Alexis, Jody, Allison, Sarah, Greg, Jennifer, Tristan, Erin, Ian, Kate and Mark. Also 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson survive her. Also mourning the loss are sisters Jean (Lee), Gail (Uwe), and sister-in-law Joanne.
Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Woodrow, her brother Cliff, as well as her daughter-in-law Laurie, granddaughter Christine and great-grandson Eric.
Her family extend our thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Westlock Continuing Care Centre where Mom resided for the past four years. We appreciate the compassionate and kind care that was extended to her on a daily basis.
A celebration of Grace’s life will be held on Monday, February 28th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Westlock Funeral Home with Pastor Marjorie Steele officiating with interment in the Hazel Bluff Cemetery. COVID 19 capacity restrictions have been lifted. Everybody welcome, masks are still mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Westlock Community Thrift Shop c/o 10820 –110 Street, Westlock, AB T7P 1A5 where Grace devoted many hours of service over the past decades.
