DAVIDSON, Dorothy Lorraine
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our mother Dot (Nan). Dot entered Heaven’s Gates on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the age of
90 years.
Born on April 4, 1931 in Wainwright, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Ruby Davidson, her brothers Alvin, Donald and sister Gladys, son-in-law Cameron, and our dad Morris Heemeryck (Grandpa).
Mom (Nan) will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family. Children, Connie (Harvey) Provost, Cheryl Leslie, Murray (Sandy) Heemeryck; 4 grandchildren, Laurie (Ken) Moon, Trevor (Kristy) Provost, Dawn Leslie (Jody), and Ryan Leslie; 8 great grandchildren, Austin (Alana), Tori, Raegan, Reece, Landen, Gavin, Eva and Isabella; and her sister Marjorie McDowell of B.C.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Some of her fondest memories were the trips to the hospital for the arrival of the new additions to the family. Mom said “I loved them little babies”. Mom loved to drive, she said her greatest accomplishment was getting her drivers license. Nan loved to help people and she was always there to help with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her favourite things were country music, hummingbirds, plants, playing rummy, and having bouquets of flowers to look at. She wrote, I want my family to remember me for “loving them with all my heart.” Due to Covid-19 restrictions the family will be having a private family service.
