Jensen, Holger Hans

The family announces the passing of Holger at the age of 71 years.
Holger graduated from R.F Staples Secondary High School in 1969. He completed his apprenticeship and was a certified red seal carpenter, as well as a certified air conditioner and refrigeration technician, completed at Nait in Edmonton Alberta. Holger had many jobs over the years such as Golinowski Distrubuting, Wabash Mfg, Javall Head Doctor, Ridgewood Winalta Homes, as well as spending time in Fort McMurray completing set up and installation of manufactured homes. Most recently Holger could be found driving the Pilot truck for Holger and Angie’s own business Angie’s Pilot Service.
Holger and Angela Jensen were married on August 17th, 2002 at the Legislative Grounds in Edmonton Alberta. But had been together 10 years prior to their marriage.
He is lovingly remembered by his Wife, Angela Jensen; children, Danny Jensen (Zandrea) of Blackfalls AB, Karsten Jensen of Edmonton AB, Sonia Minard (Calvin) of Prince George BC, Elizabeth Colbourne of Langley BC, Matthew Colbourne (Brittany) of Lethbridge AB, Lyle Bianic (Candice) of Leduc AB, Luke Bianic of Red Deer AB, Gary Buzzel (Melissa) of Sherwood Park AB, Patricia Buzzel of Enderby BC; twenty-six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Ursula (Ken) Harper of Half Moon Lake, Ruth Ellen (Dave) Dowhan of Wildwood AB, Monika (Wilfred) Kern of Toronto Ontario. As well as numerous friends and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Liesselotte and Carsten Jensen both in 2017; Son, Thomas Rieken in 2009; grandson Holger Junior Rieken and close friend, Frank Quadfass in 2006.
A Celebration of Life to be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday October 8th, 2022 at Pickardville Hall.
