IN LOVING MEMORY
RHODA DOREEN (GRANNY) NYAL
May 19, 1925 – May 16, 2021
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom. RHODA DOREEN NYAL passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Mom was 95 years old.
Mom will be dearly missed by her 10 children: Mel (Louise), Wendy (Cliff), Dennis (Lorraine), Beverley, Sharon, Doug, Karen (Dennis), Ken
(Mary-Ann), Joyce (Wayne) and Norma; 27 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 8 ½ great great grandchildren, as well as many dear friends and family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul Nyal Sr., parents Peter and Lily Clements, five brothers and one sister, three grandsons, one granddaughter and one daughter-in-law.
Mom was the youngest of seven children: born in Provost, AB. After moving to Clyde, AB with her family, she met and married our Dad; Paul Nyal; her husband of 65 years.
Rhoda will be remembered for the many years that she spent volunteering her time for the Clyde Community and United Church; alongside many of her dear friends.
Our most sincere appreciation goes out to Dr. M. DoRego and Dr. S. Frigon, the nurses and staff at the Westlock Hospital and the Home Care Staff at the Smithfield Lodge for all their compassion and commitment to our Mom.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their comforting support, phone calls, flowers and their many acts of kindness expressed to us during this difficult time.
Due to the current provincial guidelines, a Celebration of Mom’s Life will be held at a later date.
