POCHA, Margaret Louise (nee: Walmsley)
October 22, 1939 – March 2, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the family of Margaret Louise Pocha, formerly of Flatbush, Alberta, announce her passing on March 2, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
Left to mourn Margaret are, her daughters: Gayle (Paul) Pidsadowski and their children Kaytlyn Pidsadowski (Ryan Astbury) and Dalton Pidsadowski; Shirley Pocha; and son Jerry Pocha and his children Michael Nicholas-Pocha, Cheyenne Nicholas-Pocha, Sierra Nicholas-Pocha, Bryan Nicholas-Pocha, Aurora Nicholas-Pocha, Amber Pocha, Tyler Pocha, Sonia Pocha, Christine Pocha, and Autumn Pocha. She also leaves behind her loving sister Betty Munteanu, and sisters-in-law Shirley Vols (Bill Smillie) and Charlotte Walmsley, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Joseph of 45 years; parents Gordon and Elda Walmsley, brothers Bill Walmsley and Tim Walmsley; and sisters Chris Milne, Ada Chomyszyn and infant sister Terry Walmsley.
A Private Family Service will be held. Interment to take place in the Flatbush Community Lutheran Cemetery, Flatbush, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret’s name to the Heart &Stroke Foundation of Alberta 119 –14Street NW #100, Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6.
