Sams, Herbert Lawrence
January 8, 1936 – January 13, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lawrence Sams a long-time resident of Rochester at the age of 87 years.
He is survived by his wife Lily of 64 years; brothers, Bill of Wembley and Pat (Lillian) of Stony Plain; brother-in-law, Gil Anderson of Westlock, as well as many nieces and nephews and a host of good friends.
Lawrence was predeceased by his parents Ted and Mary; brother, Had; sister, Julia; brother-in-law, Keith Christenson; sisters-in-law, Edith Anderson, Marg Sams and nephew Larry Christenson.
Lill would like to thank everyone for their support over the last few months. The family will have a celebration of life in the spring when the dandelion’s bloom and the bees are buzzing. Time and place to be announced at a later date.
