SEMLER, Gus
Gus Semler of Barrhead, Alberta went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 26, 2022 at the age of 93 years.
He was born to Gottfried and Wanda Semler on August 1, 1929 in Tomahawk, Alberta.
His wife, Elsie, predeceased him in 2018. They had shared 67 years of marriage. He was also predeceased by his sister, Holdine Wagner. Gus was active in his local church, and lived out his faith in God. He was a progressive farmer in the Highridge area until his retirement.
Gus leaves to mourn his passing: 4 children, Norman (Adelheid), Elaine (Walter), Marlene (Ron) and Lorne (Trudy) and his sister Selma (Fred) Sonnenberg. He was a special grandpa to 13 grandchildren, as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Barrhead Alliance Church.
