Simmons, Correne
January 4, 1946 - April 6, 2022
It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Correne Simmons of Tawatinaw, AB at the age of 76 years.
She leaves behind her children: Ian (Danielle), Evan, Tammy (Walter), her grandchildren: Kristen, Kathryn, Braden, Matthew, Rebecca, and Kaidence and one great grandchild, Payten as well as numerous relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by all of those that knew her.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bill and her children, who she loved dearly, Brian and Cheryl.
Family was very important to Correne. Even though she faced many hardships, she took her role as a mother and a grandmother very seriously and made sure that we all felt loved. Correne was described by all as a kind, gentle soul who was always ready to help those in need. She loved gardening, camping, bird watching and crafting.
Cremation took place April 8 in Westlock, AB
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date this summer.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Westlock Homecare and East Wing at the Westlock Health Care Center for the care you showed Mom. We also would like to give an extra special thank you to Shirley Henderson for everything she did to make Mom comfortable.
