Norah Annette Smecko
Norah Annette Smecko, late of Barrhead, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2023 at the age of 82 years old.
She will be lovingly remembered by her family; 6 daughters, Helen (Dale) Kluin of Fort Assiniboine, Pauline (Barry) Ryrie of Barrhead, Karen Loitz of Barrhead, Gladys Smecko of Edmonton, Donna Woods of Barrhead, Candace (Scott) Henderson of Airdrie, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 6 siblings, Halvor (Bonnie), Judy, Ed, Herman (Cathy), Rosie and Dick. She will also be missed by many relatives and friends.
Norah is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Emil, her parents Raidar and Rosie, and siblings Rolf, Bertha, Arlene, Ingrid, Happy and Peter.
Prayers and service were held Sept. 22 & 23, 2023 at the St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Barrhead, AB.
