Pauline (Pawlina) Tkach (nee Miarecki)
July 12, 1932 – February 7, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of Pauline Tkach announces her passing on February 7, 2022 in her 90th year.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents Stanislaw and Magdalena, and her husband William (Bill) – she is lovingly remembered by her children Daniel (Roberta), Roger (Lorna), Patricia (Lorne), grandchildren Pamela (Loree), Mark (Sherry), Rylin, Trystin, great-grandchildren Bradley and Annalise, her sister Rosalie and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pauline was a pioneer woman like many of her time, devoting her life to family and service of others through volunteering and being active in her community. Pauline shared her loving faith in the Lord with all, and now rests in peace in his hands.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff and medical professionals at the Pembina Lodge, Smithfield Lodge and Westlock Healthcare Centre, who cared and supported her through these last years and weeks of her declining health.
A private service was held at the Westlock Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. following with interment at the Westlock Cemetery with Father Slavko Dumec officiating.
