TURNER, DONNA MAY (JOLLIFFE)
It is with great sadness that we announce that our beloved wife and mother, Donna May Turner (Jolliffe) of Morinville (formerly of Texas and Westlock) passed away peacefully at the St. Albert Sturgeon Community Hospital on November 21, 2023, at the age of 59 years.
Donna leaves behind her loving husband, Brian; 3 sons, Brett Turner, Ryan Turner and Kyle Turner; 1 daughter Tori Turner; her mother, Iona Jolliffe; 3 siblings Dwaine (Joan) Jolliffe, Darleen (Ken) Lynes, Darryl (Brenda) Jolliffe; Donna was an auntie; a sister-in-law; a niece; a cousin and a Friend.
She was predeceased by her loving father, Eddie Jolliffe in 2000 and nephew, Derek Jolliffe in 1998.
Donna was born April 24, 1964, at the Westlock Immaculata Hospital. Her childhood years were spent on a farm in the Fawcett area, where she acquired her strong love of animals. She attended the Fawcett School and then RF Staples in Westlock. She met Brian at the young age of 16 and their love story continued for the next 43 years. During that time, she gave birth to the loves of her life, her children, 3 boys and finally that little girl she always wished for. Her children and her husband were her life. If asked where she worked, her answer was always that her family was her job. As her son put it, “mom always put a focus on making life special for all of us”. Donna loved to travel, and the family did many special vacations. One of her most fulfilling adventures was her move to Granbury, Texas. For 7 years she lived the southern lifestyle and loved it. Her life was full in her short 59 years. She will be loved and missed forever.
At Donna’s request, no service will be held.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital (St. Albert) and Brian’s sister Donna Lux for her daily support.
