Watson, Lorraine Joan (Joan) Nee: Samis
August 13, 1939-May 30, 2021
Peacefully surrounded by her family, Joan passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 81 years.
She will be remembered by her siblings Eleanor Dickson, Colin Samis (Sande), Linda Nederlof, Ann Benson (Blake), and her loving children Ralph Watson (Patty) and Lorna Snell; grandchildren Stacy Pawlowich (Claudina), Rob Snell (Michell), Suzie Snell Joncas (Jay) and Donald Haywood; and great grandchildren Keena, Loren, Irah, Emelia & Daphne. She will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Don of 45 years, brother (Bruce) and daughter (Karen) and her parents David and Mary.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to send a very special thank you to Dr. I Mayers for his kindness and caring over the years. Joan always appreciated his heartfelt caring bedside manner. We would also like to thank the staff at the Westlock Hospital. Your caring and support will always be remembered.
