“Helmi” Brinkmann of Barrhead, AB passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the age of 97 years. Helmi is survived by her loving family; sons; Norbert (Maureen) and Raymond (Debra). Grandchildren; Cory, Christie, Kaleigh and Ryan. Sister, Margret Weber in Germany and many other relatives and friends. Helmi was predeceased by her husband Carl in 1982; daughter Ursula “Sue” and son-in-law, Dennis West; parents Lambert and Anna Melchers; sister, Hildegard Cadel in Germany as well as numerous family and friends in Germany and Canada. The family would especially like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Judy Hove and Lorna Kallal for all their help and kindness given our Mother in recent years as well as the loving caregivers at her residence in Klondyke Place. A Celebration of Life Service was held Saturday, November 30, 2019 from St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
