LAWRENCE GILBERT WOOD (LARRY)
Lawrence Gilbert Wood (Larry) was born February 22, 1945, and passed away on July 7, 2025, in Westlock, Alberta at 80 years of age. Lawrence was born in Edmonton and worked there for many years. He later bought an acreage and lived there until moving into Westlock.
Lawrence is survived by his brother Edward Wood and sister Joyce Howard (Gilbert). He will be greatly missed.
Lawrence loved to read and thoroughly enjoyed creation around him. He also felt God will remove all problems facing mankind today, like sickness, suffering and death.
Revelation 21:4 says: "and he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more".
The family would like to thank the staff at Smithfield lodge and Westlock hospital in caring for Lawrence. There will be a brief memorial with family in the near future.
