Mitchell Chris Woynorowski
August 3, 1958 - April 2, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mitchell (Mick) Woynorowski, of Westlock AB on April 2, 2023, at the age of 64 years.
He will be remembered by his loving wife of 42 years, Veronica; sons: JD (Aislinn), Keith (Jennifer) and Evan (Faith); Grandchildren: Paige, Paisley, Walden, and Oliver; brothers: Fred (Bertha), David (Donna) and Jim (Janet); Mother-in-Law Bernadette Skuban and many more loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was predeceased by his daughter Lianne, grandsons Zachary and Wyatt, his parents Walter and Julie and Father-in-Law Joseph Skuban.
Mitchell was born in Westlock and grew up on a farm north of town. He was the third of four sons born to Walter and Julie. There was never a dull moment growing up on the farm and he carried that love of farming all through his life. Mick had an infectious smile and natural charisma that allowed him to make friends easily. He was a successful cattleman and grain farmer. He loved his wife, his family and his farm. Mick farmed most of his life along side his dad Walter until Walter retired and Mick’s two eldest sons, JD and Keith decided to live and farm close by. Mick shared his wisdom and love of farming with his boys. He was generous and was adored by his grandchildren, and any children who met him. He left a large hole in our hearts when he departed. Mick had simple taste and focused on making sure his children had the best life could offer, without worrying about himself.
