Dear Editor, I know I’m not very smart. So I have one of many puzzling questions for that particular hay bale fire. The hay fire inside town limits, west side of Barrhead on Nov. 18.

Dear Editor, One asks, “Why is history important?” Let me ask you something. Why is it not? Think of the longest timeline you can imagine. Then, picture taking a millimeter slice out of it.

It’s hard to believe, but another month has come and gone. We’re one step closer to 2016 and one step closer to the holiday season. December is a month of holidays, of parties and, yes, of drinking.

It’s time for Westlock County council to take a public position on the $1.49 billion Alberta PowerLine Fort McMurray West 500-kV Transmission Project. So far, all council has done is say it facilitates and encourages discussion.

It would be hard to find a better example of the Town of Westlock’s other motto, “a community with spirit,” than Light Up.

When you think about it, it’s kind of impressive just how many stores there are in downtown Athabasca and Boyle.

Dear Editor, These criminals have hit the same farm in Cherhill 3 times, breaking locks and hoses and draining the tanks dry! The last time happening while the farmer was lying in a hospital bed with the family full of worry and concern.

Dear Editor, I would like to express my disgust and outrage of an abuse of international law and agree with Rick DeVries, that the Keystone Pipeline would have been a game changer for Canada.
