One person remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a Saturday-night crash on Highway 44 near the Dapp Corner Store.

Emergency crews, including town and county firefighters, RCMP and ambulance personnel, were called to the scene of an accident involving a pair of pickup trucks — one was pulling a holiday trailer — at the junction of Highway 44 and Highway 661 near the Dapp Corner Store at 8 p.m. on May 30.

Westlock RCMP report that an eastbound truck crossed Highway 44 in front of a northbound truck. The truck pulling the trailer rolled, while the other remained upright, but suffered serious damage.

Four people involved in the crash were transported to hospital — as of Monday morning RCMP say three have been discharged, while the fourth remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
