Village of Clyde passes 2025 tax rate

A 2.265 per cent municipal tax for residential properties is in effect in the Village of Clyde.

Residential and non-residential properties will see more than a 2 per cent increase.

The Village of Clyde has passed their tax rates for the 2025 year. On Monday May 12, the council passed bylaw No. 2025-05-01 which states that there will be a 2.265 per cent municipal tax increase for residential properties. All residential properties and farmlands will have a 13.84 mill rate. Non-residential properties will see a 2.439 per cent increase with a 24.02 mill rate. 

The Provincial Education Requisition has a 10.62 per cent increase, equal to a $9,740.35 difference from the 2024 year. Homeland Housing Seniors Requisition will only see a 1.28 per cent increase, equal to a less than $300 difference. 

A minimum tax of $850 will be applied to all residential, farmland, and non-residential properties. 

A four per cent will be accrued if they remain unpaid after June 30, 2025.
