Westlock resident released on bail following cocaine trafficking charges

WESTLOCK - Nicole Bombay has been released on bail on June 25 after being charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine in Westlock County. 

Bombay is one of the four Westlock residents who were arrested and charged during a 10-month-long drug trafficking investigation in May 2025. Westlock RCMP executed five search warrants, finding over 100 grams of cocaine, seven firearms and over $12,000 in Canadian currency among other illegal substances. 

Bombay has been released on the conditions to remain in the province of Alberta, not consume or be found with alcohol, drugs or narcotics, and is prohibited from having contact with the three other individuals arrested during the searches. 

A trial date has not yet been finalized.
