The hamlet of Jarvie was packed with people like never before last weekend as the community celebrated its 100th anniversary during the annual Jarvie Days festival.

Westlock-area Wildrose Alliance Party of Alberta supporters were out in full force last Wednesday when party leader Danielle Smith paid a visit to the Memorial Hall.

Two people were taken to hospital last Thursday evening following a collision near the Petro Canada near Clyde Police and emergency crews got a call about a two-vehicle collision at about 4 p.m.
