On the rise again, Athabasca River

Once again the Athabasca River is under a high stream flow advisory. Carrie Sancartier from Alberta Environment said the river is expected to rise, but doesn’t know how much.

A luminary sits in front of the message of hope at the Relay For Life in Athabasca last Friday. 210 participants walked and ran laps around Athabasca University and the track at the Multiplex for 12 hours to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
