A man and his wife are lucky to be alive after a near head-on collision sent their black 2002 Chevy Trailblazer off of Highway 2 southbound at approximately 6:15 p.m. Wednesday night, crashing into the west tree line.

Boyle RCMP was called to the scene of a northbound semi transport truck full of diesel fuel that lost control at approximately 3:30 a.m. and flipped into the east ditch of Highway 831 between Highway 661 and Highway 663 in the early hours of Monday morning. The driver escaped uninjured.

Proceeds for the show went towards helping to keep the Community Hall running with the help of the Caslan Recreational Culture Society. The Gentleman Leon opened the show. The crowd erupted when Canyon took the stage with his band and lit up the hall with energy.
