September kicks off another year of the Cultural Arts Theatre Series (CATS) in Westlock.

With no major rivers or lakes bordering the town, overland flooding in Westlock is extremely rare — the last major flood in the community was reported in the early 1970s. But that was the reality the Town of Westlock Fire Department faced Aug.

While most in Westlock struggle to recover from the Aug. 22 floods, two young girls did their part to bring cheer to those affected residents. Though her own bedroom and most of her possessions were destroyed by the storm Aug.
