VANCOUVER — Defensive lineman Tibo Debaillie signed a two-year contract extension with the B.C. Lions on Thursday. Debaillie was slated to become a free agent on Feb. 11.

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian linebacker A.J. Allen to a one-year contract extension, the CFL team said Thursday. The 26-year-old native of Burlington, Ont.

OTTAWA — Rick Campbell is back with the Ottawa Redblacks. Campbell was named Ottawa's special-teams co-ordinator Thursday.

The Edmonton Elks have released American defensive lineman Elliott Brown for him to pursue NFL opportunities. The 26-year-old from Odenton, Md., tied for the CFL lead in sacks last season with eight while compiling 44 defensive tackles.

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks re-signed defensive lineman Mike Wakefield to a one-year contract on Wednesday. He tied teammate Lorenzo Mauldin and three others for the CFL lead with eight sacks last season.

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks hired William Fields as their defensive co-ordinator and secondary coach Monday. Fields served as co-defensive co-ordinator with Kevin Eiben last season with the Grey Cup-champion Toronto Argonauts.
