The family of Lisa Kelly sadly announce her passing in Swan Hills, AB. Lisa was very diverse and resourceful when it came to how she earned a living. Her family, friends and co-workers/clients fondly remember her bookkeeping skills, talent for running the golf course and passion for animals. Lisa excelled at her pet store and dog grooming business that went hand in hand with dog breeding. Lisa’s other main passion was the lake lot that she and Boyd shared and spent many happy days enjoying its beauty and peacefulness. Her creativeness still shines in the homes of her many friends who were gifted hand-crafted items Lisa made with love.
She and Boyd were together for the last 13 years and made many happy memories at their lake lot and trips to Mexico and Cuba. Lisa also loved her two sons Ben and Donovan as well as her stepson and daughter-in-law, Justin and Ashley Tarry, and their two children, Weston & Tripper. She was truly proud of them and especially happy when they were all at the lake lot to visit..
Lisa’s family wishes to express their gratitude for the excellent care she received by the nurses and doctors at the Swan Hills and Barrhead Hospitals as well as the Edmonton Cross Cancer centre, noting that Lisa often mentioned what a tremendous job they did to make her as comfortable as possible at the end of her life. Her family will be forever thankful for those beautiful souls who cared for her.
Lisa will be forever missed by her loving family Boyd Pryznyk and sons Benjamin, Donovan, and Justin as well as numerous family and friends.
Lisa is pre-deceased by her father Lynn Lewis.
At Lisa’s request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa’s name can be made to the Swan Hills Hospital Foundation.
