January 25, 1936 - June 3, 2022
On June 3, 2022 our sweet Mom, Wife, Grandmother,
Great-Grandmother and Sister passed away peacefully
at Smithfield Lodge in Westlock, Alberta.
Arlene will be forever held in the
hearts of her loving husband of 66 years, Stewart Duane
Kerik; children Sherry (Dennis) Holyk, Murray (Debbie)
Kerik, and Karen (Layne) Hutchinson; 5 Grandchildren and
9 Great-Grandchildren; brothers Ray (Ann) Duncan and
Duane (Lois) Duncan, and many special relatives and friends.
Arlene was born in High River, Alberta to Grant and Rena
Duncan. After high school she attended nursing school in
Calgary, Alberta and graduated as a Nursing Aide. There she
met her husband Duane and they married August 24, 1956 in
Meadowbank, Alberta. Several moves and 3 grown children
later, she and Duane settled on a farm east of Flatbush,
Alberta in 1978, where she resided until this past year.
A Memorial Service will be held on June 26, 2022 at 1:00 at
the Flatbush Recreation Complex.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at Smithfield Lodge in
Westlock andWestlock Home Care for their exceptional care
and support for Arlene over the past several months.
