RILLING, NORA (nee) McDOUGALL
On October 22, 2020, Nora May Eileen Rilling (nee McDougall) of Cherhill, AB passed away at the age of 74 years.
Remembering her, with love, son, Philip Rilling of Cherhill, AB; daughter, Leanna Rilling (Lloyd Gache) of Sangudo, AB; granddaughter, Lily Gache. Also holding her in memory, Clinton (Jackie) Gache, Meghan (Zac) Koster; great-grandchildren; Jalisa, Gracie, Coy, and Alia; sisters, Mary Desmond of Daysland, AB and Nellie Wagoner of Whitecourt, AB; brother, Neil McDougall of Morinville, AB and Norman (Hazel) McDougall of Gibbons, AB; sisters-in-law, Louise, Audrey and Linda, as well as many more dear relatives and friends.
Nora was predeceased by her husband, Harry; siblings, Jessie McDonough, Alex, Dorothy Waters, Violet Black, Bill, Don, Noel, Charlie, and Laura.
Nora was raised in Glenevis, Alberta as the 13th child of 14 to parents, Donald and Jean. She met husband Harry Rilling and they settled in the Cherhill area, farming and raising their family, Leanna, and Philip with gardening and sewing as homemaking interests. Nora loved to visit and connect with family, friends, community groups, and her church family. Her memory and life lessons will live on in all of us through the way she took on what was handed her with humor, grace, and faith in the Lord. She touched the hearts of many.
The family wishes to thank the Healthcare staff, family, and friends for their support and love. In light of gathering restrictions, and in the interest of safety, a private service will be held.
