Well, I’m going to be completely honest with you. After being back home for a week, I really didn’t want to come back here to Barrhead. No, it’s not because I don’t like you or that I met and fell in love with a wonderful girl while I was home.

Dear Editor, A school board in Montreal has just ruled that French is the only language that is allowed to be used on their school yards.

The Christmas shopping season is officially here, but for some local residents, it may already be over. The annual Moonlight Madness event was held in Athabasca last Friday.

The winter season is in full swing and as the temperatures drop and the snow falls, we can only expect to encounter harsher conditions on Alberta’s highways.

We all have an interest in supporting and helping those struggling with addiction.

They look normal. They dress normally. They speak normally. They pay bills, buy groceries, and often have full-time jobs. They usually have families to look after, and friendships to maintain and nourish, especially at times like Christmas.

And on the 67th day the white enemy attacked, striking in great numbers and with relentless, merciless accuracy. For nearly an hour an alien craft hovered unseen in front of the car, unleashing a fusillade of tiny gleaming pellets.

Dear Editor, Re: A response to “I think our future is doomed.” It was interesting for me to read the article – I think our future is doomed. I sat and pondered for a while and thought I must write my view.

Dear Editor, As a responsible pet owner I walk my beloved pooch two to three times a day, not only for his health but also my own (and yes I pick up the dog do). I do not always like the weather, but we must keep moving.
