Once again, the Blue Suede Music Festival outdid itself.

The Westlock Ag Society celebrated its 100th birthday in style last weekend with the 100th Annual Westlock & District Ag Fair.

The Truc Lam Monastery north of Busby held its grand opening over the weekend, kicked off with a ceremony Saturday night that saw the statue of the Avalokitesvera bathed in coloured light. Statues all around the central square were also bathed in light. On Sunday, the monastery continued its grand opening with a second ceremony.
