There are now three declared candidates to replace Ken Kowalski as the Progressive Conservative representative in Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock after Barrhead’s Tim Schultz threw his hat in the ring last week.

A fire destroyed this garage and shop on a property at the north end of Whissellville in the early morning hours of Saturday, Dec. 24. Westlock firefighters were called to the scene around 1 a.m. Later that morning, the aftermath of the blaze was apparent. The house appeared to be unaffected by the blaze.
