The girls followed this song by covering Dala's Lennon and McCartney. The evening featured performances from many RF Staples students and teachers, all of whom brought their own flair to their performances. Proceeds from the evening went towards supporting the school's arts programs.

A man who was drunk behind the wheel and ran over a boy at a party in 2008 received a 19-month jail sentence.

Nearly 200 people came out to the Memorial Hall in Westlock to show their support for Link Byfield and the Wildrose Alliance, and to meet the party’s leader.
