By the end of May, the Village of Clyde could have a new mayor, a new CAO, or possibly both. On March 28, CAO Melanie Beastall submitted her letter of resignation, effective May 20.

A man who was drunk behind the wheel and ran over a boy at a party in 2008 received a 19-month jail sentence.

It looks as though Westlock and area residents looking to hit the ice next winter will spend one more year in Jubilee Arena. The new Westlock Rotary Spirit Centre will not be completed until early 2012, town CAO Darrell Garceau said last week.
