TORONTO — Brian Ramsay is stepping down as executive director of the CFL Players' Association, the union announced Thursday. The CFLPA said Ramsay "is pursuing a new opportunity," and will leave the organization at the end of September.

TORONTO — There's no place like home for Ryan Dinwiddie and the Toronto Argonauts. Toronto (4-4) faces Calgary (4-4) at BMO Field on Friday night.

OTTAWA — The Ottawa Redblacks are looking to pick up right where they left off.

TORONTO — Jake Dolegala will be tasked with ending the B.C. Lions losing ways. Dolegala gets the start Sunday when B.C. (5-3) visits the Edmonton Elks (1-7). He replaces veteran Vernon Adams Jr.

It's back to the grind for Dru Brown and the Ottawa Redblacks. Ottawa (5-2) comes off its bye week hosting Saskatchewan (5-3) on Thursday night. The Redblacks should be the fresher team given the Riders lost 42-31 to Edmonton on Saturday.

TORONTO — Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Shea Patterson and Toronto Argonauts safety Royce Metchie were named the CFL Honour Roll's top offensive and defensive players on Tuesday. Patterson earned a grade of 85.

MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes signed veteran American quarterback Dominique Davis on Tuesday. The move comes after veteran backup Caleb Evans suffered a knee injury in Montreal's 33-16 road win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday.

CALGARY — A clutch fourth-quarter performance led the Calgary Stampeders to a thrilling 27-23 win over the Toronto Argonauts on Sunday.

REGINA — It was déjà vu all over again for the Edmonton Elks on Saturday. The last time the Elks played the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina, they came away with a 36-27 victory on Sept. 15, 2023.

CALGARY — The running back position will be in the spotlight when the Calgary Stampeders host the Toronto Argonauts at McMahon Stadium on Sunday.
