WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed Canadian receiver Drew Wolitarsky to a two-year contract extension Saturday. Wolitarsky was slated to become a free agent next month.

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed American defensive lineman Julian Howsare, the CFL club announced Friday. The five-year veteran was slated to become a free agent next month.

REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed American running back Frankie Hickson to a one-year contract extension Thursday. Hickson was scheduled to become a free agent next month.

Dominique Rhymes is returning to where it all began. The veteran receiver agreed to terms on a two-year contract with the Ottawa Redblacks on Thursday. It came a day after Rhymes and the B.C. Lions mutually parted ways in a salary-cap move.

VANCOUVER — Dominique Rhymes' time with the B.C. Lions has come to an end. The Lions announced Wednesday they have released the American receiver in what was a salary-cap move.

Qwan'Tez Stiggers will be playing pro football in 2024. He just doesn't know where yet. The six-foot, 197-pound cornerback was the CFL's top rookie last season with the Toronto Argonauts and remains under contract with the club.

He's entering his 14th CFL season and will be 38 years old when training camp begins but Stanley Bryant isn't ready to retire just yet.

VANCOUVER — The B.C. Lions have signed American punter Stefan Flintoft to an extension for the 2024 CFL season. Flintoft was eligible to become a free agent next month.

TORONTO — The Toronto Argonauts re-signed Canadian receiver Richie Sindani to a contract extension Wednesday. Sindani was slated to become a CFL free agent next month.

MONTREAL — The Montreal Alouettes have extended the contract of Canadian offensive lineman Justin Lawrence through 2025, the CFL club announced Tuesday.
