Dear Editor, I want to thank all of Barrhead, but especially the volunteers for the wonderful time that we enjoyed at the Senior Summer Games. You did a bang up job. The food was terrific and the venues suited the needs of the athletes.

What is happening at Smithfield Lodge is unacceptable. There’s no two ways around it.

So many memories, so many sporting and cultural feats, so many new friendships made. The Alberta 55-plus Summer Games co-hosted by Barrhead and Westlock lived up to all expectations. No, it far exceeded them.

Dear Editor, As the second reading for the Barrhead Animal Control bylaws approaches, there are still many issues that remain problematic in the newest draft of the revised bylaws.
