Westlock RCMP say a torched stolen vehicle was behind the 80-acre fire near Clyde last Sunday. The fire started in the early afternoon of Sunday, May 13 east of Clyde and two miles south of Highway 18 on the Landing Trail.

The Town of Westlock will donate $44,000 towards the new Slave Lake library, which is currently being rebuilt after the wildfire last May that destroyed much of that community.
