On Monday evening, the strong winds that hit Westlock upended this poplar on Gertrude Forbes' property along Highway 18 near the Spirit Centre. The tree came down, crushing her daughter's car and knocking out her power. Neighbours, firefighters, town workers and Fortis all converged on the scene to make sure everything was OK.
