It’s been 21 months since the Barrhead RCMP launched a fraud investigation into the expense accounts of a former employee with the Pembina Hills school division, and so far no resolution has been reached. The investigation was first started on Nov.

Westlock RCMP have had a busy week, with a rash of vehicle thefts and stolen vehicles recovered in Westlock County. Between July 27 and Aug. 10, eight vehicles were stolen from Westlock County properties south of Highway 18.

A Westlock County man is dead after being thrown from an ATV as it was being towed behind a pickup truck last week.

Police have charged a man with failing to proceed safely through a stop sign following a two-vehicle collision at the Clyde corner late Friday morning that restricted traffic for nearly half an hour. RCMP say that at around 11:20 a.m.

Effective Wednesday, Aug. 1, Clyde residents will no longer have access to the provincial library system.
