Marek Kenneth Ronald Kasawski is Westlock's first baby of 2013, born to mother Trisha Kasawski. Marek was born weighing seven pounds two ounces at 7:52 a.m. on Jan. 2 at the Westlock Healthcare Centre. Marek was due on Jan. 1, but decided to hold off a few hours, his mother said. How does it feel to have her first child also the first of 2013? "I'm a lucky lady,” Trisha said.
