Moose blamed for fatal crash

Two people are dead following a single-vehicle collision with a moose late on Aug. 17 on Highway 18 just west of Rossington. The collision took place around 10:20 p.m., said Westlock RCMP Cpl. Dave Casey.

Farm accident claims Thorhild man

A 58-year-old farmer in Thorhild County was killed on Wednesday when the tractor he was working on rolled over him. Cpl. Guy Perreault of the Thorhild RCMP said they received a report about the incident at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 16.
