Adarius Pickett is on the move. According to a CFL source, the veteran American linebacker has agreed in principle to a deal with the Ottawa Redblacks.

TORONTO — Lirim Hajrullahu is back in the CFL. The veteran Canadian kicker signed with the Toronto Argonauts on Monday. The Argos also re-signed Canadian receiver Dejon Brissette to a contract extension as he was eligible to become a free agent Feb.

WINNIPEG — Jake Thomas is continuing his CFL run with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The veteran Canadian defensive lineman agreed to terms on a one-year extension with Winnipeg on Friday. Thomas was scheduled to become a free agent Feb. 13.

HAMILTON — Michael Fletcher is returning to the CFL. The former B.C. Lions and Toronto Argonauts linebacker will serve as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats linebackers coach in 2024 on head coach Scott Milanovich's staff.

It wasn't exactly the best start to Jordan Williams' day. The Canadian linebacker awoke Monday morning expecting it to be another day of preparing to help the Toronto Argonauts avenge a disappointing end to their 2023 season.
