When considering what kind of voice they wanted on Athabasca Town Council, local voters decided they wanted an experienced one. That’s why they voted Colleen Powell on to council in last week’s by-election.

An Athabasca tradition continued last weekend with another edition of EPC Cheerfest. The annual event was held for the seventh time on Saturday, and just like in years past it filled the Athabasca Regional Multiplex with spirit.

By the time this newspaper reaches your hands, Athabasca will have chosen its new councillor.
